Blue Fire Farm & MileStone Apiary offers grass fed beef, breeding stock and raw honey. We use biodynamic principles. We see our farm as a living ecosystem, from the soil microbiology up. We emphasize the holistic development and interrelationship of the soil, plants, and animals as a self-sustaining ecosystem.

Our family raises heritage cattle breeds that excel on native pastures, mainly Belted Galloway. Our cattle live and graze in family groups, migrating around our farm throughout the growing season. During the winter they are fed native hay free choice. We also offer them kelp and salt with added selenium and vitamin E free choice, year round.

Beef is available on a preorder basis, by the quarter, half and whole; cut to your specifications from a local USDA inspected processing facility.

Our honey bees are allowed to build comb naturally, as they would in the wild. We use two types of box style hives: Warre with observation windows and conventional boxes. We feel strongly about the conservation of honeybees and that they are the backbone of agriculture. We even remove wayward honeybee colonies from buildings. Honeybees unfortunately are being plagued at this time by many devastating pests. We use an integrated pest management system (see the Honey page) to help the bees cope with these killers.

Our honey is available by mail and is sold locally at several stores. Our Honey is packaged in several different sizes and style containers.

For more information, prices and questions, please feel free to call, write, email, or use our Contact Us form page. We look forward to hearing from you!

Our farm is a beautiful place to live.

Located in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains in Western New York, our seasons, climate, and fresh spring water produce some of the best farm products in the world.
